Brineglass Quay
Elowen
“Elowen is as tall as an adult human, with a rain-dark cloak, silver hair pinned back, and hands rough from sea air and rope.”
She is an older market cart driver who sits high on her bench and knows every turning of the quay. Beneath her brisk manners, she is tender about the small treasures and stories the harbor keeps.

At sunset, the cliffside wind turns into whispered voices that repeat everyone’s unfinished thoughts back to them. The whispers make some people laugh and others blush or worry, and the hush over the quay grows stranger as secrets begin floating out over the water.

The Jam Jar by the Clock
A tiny jam jar appears beneath the cracked clock at Brineglass Quay, with a note inside growing soft in the sea damp. Elowen and Mira must decide quickly what the little message means before the quay swallows its words.
