A row of flower pots on a townhouse windowsill in Cloverbell Alley starts drying out at the same time, even though the weather has been mild and cloudy. The plants need water soon, but the only working pump in the alley is on the far side of a blocked lane, so the neighbors must figure out how to keep the flowers alive without making a bigger mess.
The Rolling Fruit Cart
At the morning market in Cloverbell Alley, a cart of ripe fruit tips over and rolls down the sloped street, scattering everywhere just as the baker’s delivery wagon turns the corner. The alley suddenly has a fast-moving traffic jam, and someone has to stop the fruit before it causes more spills and trouble.
Milo and the Blueberry Boat
A little paper boat in Cloverbell Alley leads Milo, Nora, and Pip to notice that the rainwater is carrying something strange toward the old drain cover. What begins as a small curiosity turns into a choice about whether to poke, study, or chase the mystery.
