Driftwhistle Harbor
Juna
“A foxlike child the size of two stacked crab pots, with a red scarf, a bag of clipped notes, and a grin that says she is already halfway into her next experiment.”
Juna is a swift little harbor courier who stands about as tall as a stack of two crab pots and zips along the snowy lanes with bright, impatient energy. She lives for the thrill of a good test and loves seeing whether a clever idea can actually hold up in the cold wind.

The Lost Harbor Light
The northern supply tower that guides ships home loses its turning mechanism during a fierce gust, so its light points the wrong way and sends boats toward dangerous ice. The harbor cannot wait for a replacement from far away, so someone has to help keep incoming ships safe before dark falls again.

The Knots on the Ropes
At dawn, every rope in the harbor is found tied into perfect little knots, and no one can untie them fast enough before the tide starts to pull the boats away. The knots seem to be getting more clever each morning, as if someone or something is practicing.
