Larkspur Snowbridge Market

Nessa

“A teacup-sized rope-mender with a round brown coat, a brass thimble on one paw, and tiny ice flecks in her whiskers, standing beside a coil of pale rope.”

Nessa is a rope-mender who works the snowy walkways and can be trusted to spot a fray before anyone else tugs on it. She is about the size of a teacup, quick with her paws and very hard to startle, but she can become oddly absorbed when she hears a pattern that wants repeating.

Larkspur Snowbridge Market

Snow on the Fish Stall

The fur-lined roof of the fish stall sags after an overnight snowfall, and the market cannot open until it is cleared. But the snow is too heavy to lift by hand, and every shake sends more powder sliding onto the paths below, so the whole market must work together to protect the shoppers.
