Pumpkinbridge Meadow
Pippa
“A hedgehog about the size of a teacup, with cinnamon-brown quills, bright button eyes, and a little scarf tied around her shoulders.”
Pippa is a tiny hedgehog who fits in both hands and always seems to be prickling with impatient energy. She lives along the edge of Pumpkinbridge Meadow and loves making a grand entrance, even when nothing is expecting her.

The Pumpkin Too Big for the Door
The farm’s prize pumpkin has grown so fast overnight that it is now too wide to fit through the barn door. It still needs to be moved somewhere safe before the next rain, but nobody can simply lift it and carry it.

The Glowing Mushrooms
A patch of tiny glowing mushrooms appears overnight near the stone path by the bridge, and nobody in the meadow knows whether they are helpful, harmless, or meant to be left alone. The farm is curious, a little wary, and eager to understand the glowing surprise.

The Afternoon Moonflowers
The moonflower vines along the fence have opened in the middle of the afternoon instead of at night, and they are all pointing toward the same quiet corner of the meadow. Something hidden there seems to be calling to them.
