Tobin
“A teacup-sized hedgehog with brown-and-cream spines, a round snout, and a leaf tucked behind one ear, about 10 cm tall.”
Tobin is a young hedgehog who stands about as tall as a teacup, with a prickly shell and a warm, talkative manner. He means well and loves being trusted, but he can be a little too eager to be the first to know every secret.

The Bridge That Won’t Share
A narrow footbridge deep in Juniper Gate Thicket starts wobbling every time two creatures try to cross it together, so friends, siblings, and helpers get stranded on opposite sides of a stream. The forest paths still work for one traveler at a time, but the bridge’s shaking makes simple teamwork suddenly impossible.

When the Glow Goes Out
A family of lantern bugs that normally lights the evening paths has lost its glow right as dusk arrives, and the forest’s darker trails become hard to follow. The bugs are not broken—they are frightened by a new nighttime sound moving through the leaves, and until someone helps, the safest paths will stay too dark to use.
