Juniper Gate Thicket

Moss

“A teacup-high vole with soft brown fur, bright eyes, and a twig tucked behind one ear, posed beside juniper branches and a split stone.”

Moss is a small vole who stands about as high as a teacup, with a busy, darting energy and whiskers that twitch at every whisper in the leaves. He loves making sense of tangled things, but he can get so caught up in patterns and predictions that he forgets to look at what is right in front of him.
